Here's a time line of Quaid e Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah's life:
- 1876 - Born at Wazir Mansion in Karachi, Pakistan to Jinnahbhai Poonja and Mithibai.
- 1887 - Admitted in Standard I English, Sindh Madrasatul Islam, Karachi.
- 1892 - Married to Emi BaiHas at the age of 16.
- 1894 - Wife Emi Bai died and a few months later his mother also passed away.
- 1895 - At the age 18, he became the youngest Indian to be called to the bar in England.
- 1897 - He was enrolled as an advocate in the High Court of Bombay on August 24.
- 1900 - Appointed as a Presidency Magistrate, Bombay.
- 1902 - His father Jinnah Poonjah died on April 17. The responsibility of Miss Fatima Jinnah and Master Ahmed Ali Jinnah fell on his shoulder.
- 1906 - Jinnah first entered politics by participating in the 1906 session of the Indian National Congress held at Calcutta.
- 1909 - He was elected to the Muslim seat on the Bombay Legislative Council.
- 1913 - Left the Indian National Congress and joined the All-India Muslim League.
- 1916 - Becoming President of All-India Muslim League in 1916 and playing a key role in the Lucknow Pact which brought the Congress and League together on issues of self-government to make a united stand to the British.
- 1929 - Gave his 14 points in reponse to Nehru report. The aim of this was to safeguard the interests of Muslims in Indian Sub-continent.
- 1930 - Attended first Round Table Conference in London.
- 1940 - Presided over the most important session of the All India Muslim League in 1940 held at Lahore. In this session Lahore Resolution was passed on March 23, which declared independence from the British Raj.
- 1947 - Became the first governor-general (1947–48) of Pakistan.
- 1948 - Died on 11 September 1948 due to tuberculosis and laid to rest in Karachi.
